Who Takes Home the Prey?
In Strassertal, on a circular route through the valley's vineyards, visitors come across 7 stations. At each station, two animal rivals fight over a single prey. The outcome of each animal duel can vary, dependent on prey and and predator characteristics. Visitors learn about four key characteristiscs for each preditor and use this information to determine who will win each duel. For each predator we are informed about 4 key characteristics. At one station, for example, a bat does battle with a little owl over a moth; Is life experience, and therefore age, the key to success, or could it be wingspan? You decide. Exciting, interactive lecterns provide information to solve the conundrum of who would win and why.
