On the Trail of the Alpine Flowers


The Flower Trail around the lovely summit of the Allmendhubel is a much loved, pram friendly route for walkers. Here you can learn about the alpine plant life  typical for this area, from gentian to edelweiss. The existing flower beds, with signs marking the types of flowers, have been improved and the 20 minute circuit transformed into an interactive experience. Through play, children and adults alike uncover fascinating secrets about the delightful alpine meadows play and breathe in the mountain idyll, and the stunning Swiss Skyline, featuring Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, at beauty spots made for relaxation.  The Flower Trail is next to the Allmendhubel panoramic restaurant and the Flower Park adventure play area – another pronatour project.
