Fitness course as the winner of the Upper Austrian movement initiative
In 2013, the municipality of Hargelsberg (Upper Austria, AT) emerged as the winner of the ‘Wir machen Meter’ initiative in Upper Austria that was launched to inspire people to exercise. The people of Hargelsberg covered almost 234,000 metres for every resident. The prize on offer was a fitness trail for the municipality – conceived and implemented by pronatour. Thus the residents of Hargelsberg will be able to continue to keep fit in future. The new fitness trail was officially opened by Provincial Governor Josef Pühringer.
