Experience Life in the Multi-storey Forest
In Scheidegg, pronatour staged a new entrance to an existing attraction and remodelled four adventure trails to create a connected and coherent visitor experience. Built in 2010, the „skywalk allgäu“ is a treetop walkway, which leads through the treetops at a height of 40m and offers spectacular insights into life in the forest.
Get to know the forest from different perspectives along paths, inspired by woodland tales, planned and built by pronatour. Guests are invited to track ants, foxes, squirrels and red kites. Each animal represents forest life on a particular level. By exploring each forest character’s trail, visitors are told the story of their special role in the forest and their most interesting features. Visitors are encouraged to experience what their woodland lives are really like, on every level. The red kite path runs, therefore, along the treetop walkway itself.
First, visitors arrive at the ‘Forest wheel’. Spin the wheel to land on a character and then experience the forest from their point of view. Are you as strong as an ant? Then prove your ant power at the “weight-lifting tree trunk”. Can you jump as high as a fox? Then pit yourself against him at the “fox high jump” and aim to ring those bells.
